Why should you support George W. Bush?
President Bush is good for the U.S.A.
President Bush inherited an economy moving into recession,
triggered in great part by the stock market crash of March 2000.
The recession deepened as a result of the attacks of
September 11th. President Bush rose to these challenges by introducing
tax relief that inspired entrepreneurship and new investment. His confident
leadership and belief in America inspired confidence that America would
overcome these unforeseen and grave challenges.
President Bush's
leadership and policies were stunningly successful.
We are now witnessing a burgeoning economy
and increased numbers of jobs at a record pace. The Bush
administration acted boldly with perseverance and patience.
The results are paying off now!!
Have you noticed?
Over 1.9 million new jobs in the last 12 months alone!!
That translates into…
6 to 8 million less people on "programs"
6 to 8 more million people on the road to self sufficiency, stability and dignity
President Bush has taken the lead in formally declaring war against terrorism.
Eight short months after taking office, President Bush was confronted with a war
declared by terrorists who took the lives of over 3,000 innocent Americans.
Some died as they began their work day in New York, others as passengers on airlines,
yet others as civil servants serving their nation in Washington DC. All were
peacefully pursuing their day-to-day lives working hard to provide for their families.
President Bush reacted decisively. He declared that nations providing havens
for terrorists will bear full responsibility for their backing of international
terrorism. This position reminds me of the words of another President from a
generation ago. In his inaugural address John F. Kennedy stated:
President Bush is attempting to civilize and redeem an important part
of the world before anarchists and terrorists can destroy civilization.
Despite the rancorous voices of opposition, and world leaders who
abdicated their international responsibilities, President Bush
has acted decisively. We have the good fortune to have a courageous
President who has successfully undertaken monumental steps to respond
to monumental problems.
As a result, the Taliban no longer subjugate the people of Afganistan.
Saddam Hussein no longer tortures and terrorizes the people of Iraq.
The process of liberty in these formerly totalitarian regimes has begun.
Yes, and success is even apparent in areas most people do not contemplate.
The Powerful lesson of Saddam Hussein has not fallen on deaf ears!!!
The terrorist Momar Khadafi, a long time enemy of the United States,
has modified his truculent stance and wants peace. Khadafi has surrendered
dangerous nuclear weapon components and other extremely critical intelligence
information . Is this not a blow to global terrorism?!?
Equally important, no young American lives were dispatched to a conflict
in Libya.
This significant and concrete accomplishment was directly a result of the
actions of President Bush… without a shot being fired in Libya.
For President Bush, armed conflict and the use of our Armed Forces is
absolutely a last resort and is only relied upon after all reasonable
diplomatic avenues have been exhausted. Of course there are critics
who will say that we can negotiate longer, but that is the shortsightedness
that lead the previous administration to a non-strategy of 'deferral',
putting off and never addressing the problem. When our government failed
to respond adequately to the first Trade Center attack, failed to respond to
the attacks on our African embassies, failed to respond to the attack on
the U.S.S. Cole, it led to the greatest attack on our mainland
since The War of 1812.
President Bush is good for the world.
"
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall
pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend,
oppose any foe, to assure the survival and success of liberty."
Under the previous administration, Yasar Arafat, Nobel Terrorist/Peace
Prize winner, had a virtual "time-sharing" arrangement at the White House
logging over 30 visits with Bill Clinton. That was more visits than with
any other world leader.
Under President Bush there have been NO VISITS with Arafat at the White
House. President Bush does not negotiate with terrorists.
President Bush is good for Israel.
Consider the quality and diversity of people who President Bush has
brought to the White House.
Has there ever been a more racially or
ethnically diverse cabinet?
Consider Secretary of State
Colin Powell,
Secretary of Labor
Elaine Chao,
Secretary of Transportation
Norman Y. Mineta,
Secretary of Housing & Development
Alphonso Jackson
and U.S. Secretary of Education
Dr. Rod Paige.
In addition to the 3 women who serve on the
Bush cabinet, one of the most powerful advisors to the President is National
Security Chief
Condaleezza Rice.
In making these appointments President
Bush wasn't seeking diversity for the sake of political correctness,
President Bush was getting the best people for each job. The principles
that guide President Bush and the Republican party attract the best of
people from all races and backgrounds. Together with his astute and
experienced vice-president,
Dick Cheney,
the pre-requisites for leadership
in these time so fraught with peril, have been met.
President Bush surrounds himself with solid leaders of all beliefs, color and ethnic background.
President Bush means what he says and says what he means. We are not left
to guess what he stands for. He's the perfect example of a "straight shooter."
President Bush knows what's good and what's bad, and says so loud and clear.
We do not hear from President Bush. The but... maybe... but...
equivocation of the Washington/Beltway. In addition to President Reagan,
George W. Bush is probably the most decent and straightforward politician
we've seen in decades. President Bush brings honor and integrity to the
office of the President. He does not look to the office to automatically confer
upon him special privilege and immunity from personal responsibility.
President Bush is a man of integrity.
President Bush acts on his strong belief that there is a creator and that we
are ultimately accountable to our creator for our conduct in this life.
President Bush actively pursues the doing of good works. He loves America and its people.
He has introduced programs to give people a hand up towards stability and
independence… and out of the quicksand of the "dependency syndrome".
THESE ARE QUALITIES OF NO SMALL MEASURE OR IMPORT.
President Bush is a man of faith.
President Bush possesses the intelligence and moral qualities coupled
with a clarity of focus in abundant measure to lead the nation of
America at this time... abundantly more so, than the semi, hemi,
demi, mini, quasi, pseudo-intellectuals (read confused bafflers)
who twist and berate any word or action of this honorable man.
